Shared Hosting – Welcome

Welcome to the IC2Net shared hosting platform.

Secure Shell (SSH) is a UNIX-based command interface and protocol for securely accessing remote computers. SSH commands are encrypted and secure in several ways. Both ends of the client/server connection are authenticated using a digital certificate, and passwords are protected by being encrypted.

To login to your virtual machine please refer to the IP address and credentials sent in your welcome email.

If you don’t already have access to an ssh client some popular SSH clients are Putty (windows), Terminal (OSX) and Terminal, KDE Konsole, XTerm (Linux). At least one of these will be necessary to utilize a Unix / Linux Virtual Machine.

Open up the SSH client of your choosing and use the IP address and password provided in the welcome email.
